OneOcean LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("OneOcean", "we", "us"), provides digital marketing services and an AI-powered voice and chat assistant ("Elise") for local businesses in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through oneocean.agency and our services, how we use it, and the rights available to you.
1. Who We Are
- Legal entity: OneOcean LLC
- State of formation: Delaware, USA
- Services: digital marketing (web, ads, SEO, CRM, automation) and an AI voice/chat assistant that answers calls and messages for local businesses
- Contact: info@oneocean.io
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Information you provide through forms — name, email, phone number, business name and details you submit through contact, demo or trial forms on our sites.
- Calls and chats answered by our AI assistant — when you call or message a business that uses Elise, the conversation may be recorded and transcribed to take your request (for example, to book an appointment). A recording notice is provided at the start of recorded calls.
- Analytics — usage data (pages visited, device, approximate location) collected through consent-gated analytics and advertising tags. Non-essential analytics run only after you consent where required.
- Communications — emails, SMS and messages you exchange with us or with businesses we serve.
3. How We Use Information
We use information on the following bases: to perform services you or our client businesses request, with your consent (analytics, marketing), and for our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving our services.
- Respond to inquiries and provide quotes or demos
- Answer calls and messages and schedule appointments on behalf of the businesses we serve
- Operate, maintain and improve our services, including the quality of the AI assistant
- Send transactional communications (confirmations, reminders, invoices)
- Measure marketing performance (consent-gated)
- Comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations
When Elise answers calls or messages for a client business, we process that data as a service provider on behalf of that business.
4. We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA and VCDPA.
5. Sharing
We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us operate (hosting, telephony, AI processing, email delivery, payments, analytics), bound by contract to use it only for our services
- The client business whose phone number or website you contacted (they receive your request, contact details and conversation records)
- Authorities when required by law, or to protect rights, safety and security
6. Your Rights (VCDPA / CCPA and similar laws)
If you reside in Virginia, California or another state with a comparable privacy law, you have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete your personal information
- Obtain a portable copy of your data
- Opt out of the sale of personal data or targeted advertising (we do not sell data)
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
- Appeal a decision regarding your request (Virginia residents)
To exercise any right, email info@oneocean.io. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
7. Cookies & Analytics
On your first visit, a consent banner at the bottom of the page lets you choose between "Accept analytics" and "Essentials only". Analytics and marketing tags — Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity and the Meta Pixel — load only after you choose "Accept analytics". If you choose "Essentials only" (or make no choice), none of those tags load. The site works fully without them.
Your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage key "oo_consent", together with the date of your decision) and is honored on every later visit. You can change it at any time from the "Cookies" link in the footer, which reopens the consent banner; if you withdraw consent, analytics stop loading from that point on.
Essential cookies (for example, your language preference) are always active because the site needs them to function. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
8. Retention & Security
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above and legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards; no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Children
Our services are directed to businesses and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13; if you believe we have, contact info@oneocean.io and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate channels.
